Campus-AStA Furtwangen

Who are we?

The AStA represents the executive body of the VSt (Verfasste Studierendenschaft) of the HFU. Since our university is spread over three campuses, the AStA stands for the campus-wide administration, while we explicitly represent the Furtwangen location as the Campus-AStA!

You can find us at the HFU Furtwangen campus in room B0.03. Feel free to drop by 😉 .

Away from the formal, we are a small group of students who manage themselves and stand up for the HFU.

Mainly, we manage the recreational offerings at the university. What does that mean? This includes the Reftreff, but also the organization of parties like the Ersti-Party, the University Ball and the Studierbar.

Of course, we are also there for students in an advisory capacity! Are there problems with your studies or do you have general questions, e.g. about your BaFöG application? Then feel free to contact us!

However, not everything is always black and white with us, because we are a colorful bunch! We get along well with each other and like to do things together outside of our studies.

Of course, active participation is also rewarded with a certificate, which always looks good on your resume. Think about it!

Meetings

We hold a weekly meeting to discuss current issues and plans. With a few exceptions, these are open to the university public, which means that you are welcome to attend if you are interested!

Campus referees

Campus-Referate only describe the work areas within the committee and therefore also require a membership in the Campus-AStA.
Nevertheless, we would like to give you a closer look at them!

Technology

The Technology Department, also known as AStA Technology, manages all of the Campus-AStA's equipment.
This mainly includes all event technology in the areas of lighting, sound and video! The AStA Technik is behind the technical equipment of all parties and also supports many events of the university.
Depending on the area of application, many of these devices are also available for rent, so that you study as possible lack nothing!
Everyone who is enthusiastic about technology is in good hands here. Those who don't have the necessary know-how will be taught it here.

Sports & Recreation

The Sports & Recreation Department organizes all activities within the framework of the Reftreff.
On the one hand, the team organizes a unit presentation each semester. On the other hand, it supports the unit leaders. It doesn't matter if the units already exist or if they are newly founded.
The team also controls and manages the financial expenditures of the units in order to be able to equip them with new materials, for example, and at the same time to ensure that these also benefit the potential and existing unit members.

Rental

The Rental Unit controls or organizes the central rental processes.
As may be known, the Campus-AStA owns some technical equipment, but also sports materials as well as board games and much more. These are also lent to the students with a small deposit.
To ensure that these items do not suddenly go missing, rental forms are used to make sure that it is known who is currently in possession of which items.

Social Media

The Social Media Unit centrally describes the marketing position in Campus-AStA.
Simply put, the team manages all social media channels, designs related posts, and publishes them to disseminate news to students.

Finance

The Finance Officer manages all expenses in the Campus-AStA.
Again, student funds are managed at the campus level and invested in technical equipment, loaners, office supplies, etc. to consistently support the work of the committee and ensure a wide range of services for students.
Through financial requests, the Finance Officer can review campus AStA expenditures for reasonableness and accuracy so that funds are not wasted uselessly!

The university policy officer is the link between the university and the Campus-AStA.
